Frank and Eddie look back on a Wildcard Weekend that delivered 4 close games and 2 blowouts. Caleb Williams and the Bears pulled off an improbable comeback against the Packers, but Eddie enjoyed some of the other games more. The Rams survived a scare against the Panthers, but can they be trusted moving forward? Were the Bills lucky to get by the Jags, and can the 49ers continue to win in the face of more injuries? Plus, comfortable wins for the Patriots and Texans mean that they move on to the next round, but is that the last we see of Aaron Rodgers. 

NFL Playoff Predictions and 'The Pitt'

The NFL Playoffs are getting underway, and we have our full previews and predictions for the Wildcard Round and beyond. Will the Rams have too much offensive power for the Panthers? Who will come out on top in the rematch between the Packers and the Bears? Eddie and Frank disagree on whether Josh Allen and the Bills will find a way past the Jaguars, but they both think the 49ers could pull off an upset against the Eagles. And will either of the Chargers or the Steelers spring a surprise on the Patriots or the Texans?

Rentals and Records

Frank isn't happy with the gas policy of car rental agencies, but Eddie has a life hack that he might want to try. The NFL regular season wrapped up with most things decided before Week 18, but a statement win for the Seattle Seahawks secured them the 1 seed in the NFC, and the Carolina Panthers snuck into the playoffs despite losing to Tampa Bay.
Myles Garrett broke the regular-season sack record, but Eddie isn't sure that the Browns should have been allowed to celebrate on the field, and he's even more upset by the Bills helping Josh Allen to maintain his starting streak.
Plus Arsenal moved further ahead in the Premier League after Manchester City dropped points against Chelsea. 

Heated Rivalry in the NFL Playoff Picture

A cold front has hit Europe, but Eddie is more worried about how Aaron Rodgers will hold up in testing conditions against the Baltimore Ravens. We look through all of the Week 18 NFL games with playoff permutations. Enzo Maresca is out at Stamford Bridge, and Eddie has strong thoughts on what is going on at Chelsea and how it is worrying for all English football.

The College Football Playoffs get underway this weekend, but are there any hopes for some big upsets? Plus, our previews and predictions ahead of some crucial late-season NFL Games. The 49ers are hoping to stay in contention for the NFC West, the Bears and the Packers go head-to-head in a game with major implications for the NFC North, and the Ravens, Patriots, Steelers, Bills, Eagles, and Lions all have big games ahead.

Mahomes, Rivers, and the Heisman

Eddie managed to lock himself out, but his week hasn't gone as badly as it has for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. A loss to the Chargers and an MCL and LCL tear for Mahomes means that the Chiefs may be entering a rebuilding era, but does that mean retirement for Travis Kelce?

Eddie has a Fiat Topolino update as Nick Kyrgios and Aryna Sabalenka get set to face off in the 'Battle of the Sexes'. But the big news out of the tennis world is the potential return of Serena Williams.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is facing more challenges, as the US announces plans to screen social media history, and FIFA introduces 3-minute cool-down breaks. And University of Michigan football is mired in further controversy.
